Taking the risk.. Trusting the Lord
We went on vacation to the Philippines this January 3 2010. We only plan to check and seek locations which we can invest as our our property. Due to the storms and trials we've had since 2007 till 2009, we (me and my hubby) said to ourselves once we settle all our financial obligations then we can go and buy our own home.. our own property. We keep on praying to the Lord that we wanted to have something we could buy and pay as our home in the philippines, and we are targeting 2010... I've seen East Raya Gardens from the internet.. its location is near my parents house. It was indeed a very nice peaceful place.
We loved it the first time we saw the structure, the buildings, the amenities and the location. I know for a fact that Mercedes Ave has been affected of the recent Ondoy, but it never get inside East raya, saw the marks on the building streets.
After a handful of prayer to God, me and my hubby decided to DO IT. We've made reservation (upon approval), and we would have to wait till they confirmed we are approved. The reservation is non refundable, now that's totally risking it right? Anyways, done, deal.
We're back here in Singapore, communicating back and forth with Rachel (our sales consultant) and it turned out that God really wants us to have it. It was approved. But the problem is we are less 2% discount because we did not issue any post dated checks. Too bad.. i know~. The total cost is much higher now.. whoaaaaaaaaa. That's when I felt oh Lord.. how are we gonna make it? Considering we are still continously supporting our parents and family back home.
All these worries, doubts had been removed by Jesus. He allowed us to watch a particular film, indescribable'. It was like He was talking to me, about how BIG and how Great HE IS! So why worry? I've calmed myself. I prayed to the Lord that night, Lord, we entrust this property to you, help us to pay for it.. we surrender it to you.
Now all we have to do and wait for his plans for us. Jeremiah 29: 11 " For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future." God doesn't lie.. He's always been true to His words. We'll be holding on to His promise.

From this month onwards, we will start our obligations of paying for our property with God's assistance and provisions.
